Mike Magpayo: Sonic the Ram

Mike Magpayo, 46, is the head coach at Fordham. After a successful decade flipping home mortgages, the Filipino-American California native moved across the country to volunteer for Kyle Smith at Columbia. From there, his coaching journey zigged and zagged, with stops at Campbell, San Francisco, UC-Riverside and ultimately Fordham. At Fordham, Magpayo has found early success at a place where few do. In this week's episode of Burning Sage, Mike describes his unconventional career in terms that are equal parts poignant and humorous. Enjoy the show, We'll have a bunch more coming this month.
