Matt Braeuer: Braeuer Conditions

Stephen F. Austin coach Matt Braeuer joined the show after going 28–6 in his first season as a head coach. He was reflective, funny, and humble.

We talked about growing up in small-town Texas as a hard charging coach’s son, playing as an undersized guard at Wichita State, and working for Grant McCasland, Ross Hodge and a number of other terrific coaches. We also got into how Braeuer learned to argue effectively with his bosses, when to push back, and what he’s taken from all of those experiences into his first head-coaching job. This guy will be a high major coach within three years and the episode will quickly reveal why. Enjoy it.
